About Kanaan Construction

Since 2006, Kanaan Construction has developed and built residential buildings in Lebanon.

We carry every project from land to handover. The design is shaped with the architects and engineers we work with, our own teams build it, and we deliver each residence to its owner ourselves.

Kanaan 1 is complete. Kanaan 2, fifteen residences in Sharhabil, Saida, is now rising.

Construction standards

Built for the decades after handover

A building reveals its quality slowly: in walls that stay dry through winter storms, roofs that never leak, and a structure that remains sound. This is where our attention goes, long before the finishes.

  • Structural integrity

    Engineered by licensed structural engineers, with earthquake resistance designed in from the first drawing. Every cage of reinforcement is inspected on site before concrete is poured, and every slab is given the time it needs to cure.

  • Waterproofing

    Roofs, balconies, bathrooms, kitchens and below-ground walls are sealed against water and laid to precise falls, so water leaves the building instead of settling in it. Wet areas are flood-tested before a single tile is laid.

  • Protection from damp

    Unprotected blockwork draws in rain. Our external walls are finished to repel water, every joint is sealed, and sills are detailed to shed water clear of the facade, so the rooms inside stay dry, season after season.

  • Thermal comfort

    Insulated external walls and roofs keep interiors cool in summer and warm in winter, reduce energy bills, and prevent the condensation that leads to mould.

  • Safety by design

    Balustrades built to safe heights, earthed electrical installations protected by circuit breakers, and well-lit shared stairs and entrances. Safety is designed in, never added later.

  • Inspected before it is concealed

    Plumbing, electrical conduits and waterproofing are inspected before plaster, tiles or paint conceal them, because the defects that matter most begin where no one can see.
